Welcome to Tavelli Elementary School on the Web. We are a S.T.E.A.M. School.
Do what's right, do your best, treat others the way you want to be treated.
Tavelli Elementary is a school of academics, character, and wellness. Our mission is to ENGAGE students for academic and social success. We will INSPIRE a community of diverse learners through collaboration and accountability so our children SUCCEED in a global society.
Tavelli's motto is, "Do what's right, do your best, and treat others the way you want to be treated," and we constantly work to help our Pre-K-5th grade students incorporate these values into their lives. Wellness is a priority in our school because research supports the fact that fitness and nutrition improve academic achievement. We have an active wellness committee that coordinates activities both during and after the school day. We partner with Poudre Valley Health Systems' Healthy Kids Club, the Lions Club, and Project Smile in coordinating many of these activities, which focus on fitness, health, and nutrition. Special thanks to the Tavelli and Fort Collins community for supporting mill levy and bond items in the last election; this is a determining factor in making our school the best it can be!
Major Improvement Strategy #1: Implement a standards-based teaching and learning framework to ensure all students receive effective universal level instruction in all content areas, with emphasis on Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction.

Cool stuff! 3-D design and printing with Mrs. Musante in the Science Lab! Save the Date! - On Saturday, May 16th at 9:00am, Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum is bringing a vintage, 1940's Stearman biplane to the Loveland/Fort Collins Airport for an up-close viewing by students and their families. Come watch many Tavelli and PSD teachers receive rides in a leather helmet, goggles, and headset. With anything flying, flexibility is the key. Before heading to the airport, check Mrs. Musante’s Science Lab website for an up-to-the-minute status report (on time, delays, cancellation, etc.). Link:
